In 2002 I played CivII on a friend's computer and I thought it was completely awesome. When I went home I tried to download it but that was back in the dark ages and I've always been rather n00b at downloading illegal things so the only copy I could find was in Czech. It must have come with english text as well or I found a translator or something because I did play it a bit and really really liked it so I bought Civ3 when it came out and then I bought CivIV :D I have always preferred Turn-based strategy to RTS but until Civ the only game I had like that (turn based) was Deadlock & Deadlock II. Deadlock was SO AWESOME.

e) Assuming that I can also cheat and carve out my own chess set or something, it would be Bloodbowl. Hopefully I have enough castaways to form a league, lest some poor sod is stuck playing the other 16 teams on the fixture. Since no one can run away, it seems a perfect game to run year by year with seasons marking when to run events like the Bloodbowl and Chaos Cups. As we all descend into Lord of the Flies style madness, we'd have house runs for between game shenanigans, erect an island srhine to house the Hall of Fame, form various conferences and dance around a totem of Nuffle. It would be an awesome island experience.
