"I think you'd have to commit grievous bodily harm in this match to get a card."
-Gary Bloom, commentator
Somebody forgot to deploy Frank Lampard's personal ball. He's having a rotten game. John Terry is a thug. The "tactic" of roughing up Fernando Torres is a disgrace. The referees must all like the colour blue or something, or maybe they all have had one of their eyes cut out. Didier Drogba may have gone to the (increasingly defunct) Cristiano Ronaldo school of diving. I have some respect for the guy, especially what he's been able to do for his native country, but I think if he ends up realising that he is good enough to play the ball over playing for the free free kicks then I'll probably have a little more.
And to top it all off, Riise gives them a free goal.
Silly me, when it says that United is playing on Wednesday, I should have remembered that it actually means Thursday. I guess I'm out of practice.
Speaking of, this would be the first soccer football match I've actually sat down to watch in Goodness knows how long. (Actually, Goodness has just informed me that the last match I watched was the FA Cup final last year, which United lost in extra time.) Despite the finish, I quite enjoyed the game.
Why on earth would the Dick Smith website (www.dse.com.au) be experiencing "Heavy Traffic" at 6am? Is this the time when everyone gets up to read up on electronics?
Missing less meals is making me hungrier.
