Would it be more or less sad if you added "* ptr = " before the name? Maybe it might have to be "* puter = " for more people to get the joke...

Anyway with the name thing, I'm not sure it would have changed much. I don't think chifley would be nearly as hot if his name was David. I'm sure no one would be able to tell me apart from all the other asians if my name wasn't Lap.
