I should be in bed, but...
My little pumpkin is sick. Hardly surprising as we are all sick in this household. She is not running a temperature, but there is lots of congestion…and you should hear her wail when we tried the nasal aspirator! This is tough on Mom's heart; Dad too but he is better at keeping it together even if just barely. Mom and Dad can blow our noses or take some decongestant, or just quietly suffer in a corner, but D doesn’t understand and cries and cries wanting Mom and Dad to make things all better.
OK, she seems calmer now. We will try again for some sleep.
