I just never shut up, do I?

There are some really nice quotes on the exterior of the Humanities Building, and the one I noticed today put some things into perspective. I can't remember the wording, but it was about how mystery grows with knowledge, rather than decrease. It made me think about religion... just... that maybe that's why there are so many agnostics. They don't realize, I mean, I didn't either, that things only get more complicated. It can't possibly help that humans are so fallible, either.

So, yeah. Faith is restored a little. =)

AND as for more James Bond. (See? Title is apt.) I've been poking around this weekend reading about Casino Royale, and had seen a few places that there was one made in 1967 that everyone deemed generally junky. I got the impression it was a really bad made-for-TV movie or something.

BUT NO. THIS IS GOLDEN.

It is a DIRECT parody of James Bond. Why do I say direct? Man, you thought Austion Powers was direct. They got away with using many characters from Casino Royale, INCLUDING BOND HIMSELF, as well as the theme of the plot. How they secured the rights to that I'll never know. =P But ANYWAY. PETER SELLERS IS BOND, AND WOODY ALLEN IS ALSO IN IT. Peter Sellers, you know? The original Pink Panther? Oh geez, you folks need to see those. And the Marx Brothers films. I know how deprived you all are...

But at any rate. Peter Sellers is amazing. Woody Allen is amazing. Bond is amazing, and so are parodies. I think I have shit my metaphorical pants with happiness. =^n.n^=

*GLEE*
