So I saw this and freaked, because Smokey and the Bandit is an amazing movie. And then I read the article and it is not at all a remake, just... another trucker movie from a not-so-good director? So... I don't get what that has to do with Smokey and the Bandit, but whatever.

On the subject of trucker movies: Duel haters can suck it.
