(no subject)
Well, lots happened since my last post. Man, I don't seem to post except when I have bad news about my life. And there I was way back when thinking I wasn't gonna be one of those who just bitches in his LJ. =/
Anyhoo, I feel kinda cheated. Rightstuf's been a good anime selling company to me for the most part, but I just feel...jeez. Two days ago I ordered the Ranma Season 1 box set from them. It was on their clearance/closeout items list, with only two copies left. It was apparently reduced from $99 to $80. Today, they have the box set again in stock, with regular price $50 and sale price $45. How is it that in two days it's gone down that far and they apparently have it stocked again? =/
On the good side of news so as to not keep this purely annoyed, I have my car back (wheeee!), I have finished playing Twilight Princess and almost finished with Sonic & the Secret Rings, and most cool of all, I got a promotion at work last week, along with a significant pay raise (10.4% increase. Wooooo!!).
Edit: *sigh* I asked Rightstuf to lower their price to the listed sales price and they did so...and then the box goes on the weekly specials at $33. This time, I can't ask for a price drop though, sadly. Ah well, $45 is still a far cry better than $90.
