(no subject)
Go figure that I don't post a lot in a good long while, and my first post was a rant. I suppose it's to be expected with LJs.
On a more non-rant'ish note, stuff that's been up with my life:
1) Getting a new home. Had a couple of bumps and annoyances with the process, but looks like we'll be closing by mid-november if all goes well. Kinda ridiculous that it took as long as it did, but the builders were pretty incompetent about a lot of things and we had to keep complaining and being on their asses to get things done.
2) I've been kinda on an anime buying binge and marathoning binge as well. It's been kinda fun, especially since I've been watching with my mom. Not quite as fun as watching with friends/peers admittedly, but watching anything is always better with company.
3) I am seriously enjoying the company of the girl that sits in the cubicle next to me at work. We tend to act oddly immature whenever we're not too busy with work and start chatting.
4) Tried making an interest post for a D&D game at SR. Not much luck there, unfortunately. Only Ana has shown some possible interest. To be understood, I suppose. I've not had the best history as a GM in the past, and too many other D&D games around at the moment. Ah well, I was at least expecting this, really.
5) Uhh...I can't really think of any fifth thing, except I probably need to try to update this a bit more regularly.
