I got to stage manage again tonight. The more I learn about it, and the more I delve into it, the more I feel like it's what I'm "called" to do. It brings such a sense of personal satisfaction to me to know that I did something that mattered to people and that couldn't be done by just anyone. I really want to pursue it professionally, but at the same time, money *is* a concern, and while there is good money long-term in SMing, it doesn't pay quite as well in the short run, which is especially when we'll need it.
Oh, and the most amazing woman in the world (no offense to any other ladyfolk reading this) wants to marry me.
Now, if I could only start sleeping a reasonable amount and figure out how to make ends meet financially, I might explode.
