im sitting here in the lobby of massey... towering traditions is going on, so its flooded with all these freshmen... was i really that retarded when 3 1/2 years ago? they are arguing about who is better, backstreet boys or nsync? a girl actually uttered these words "the whole rap and rnb thing is on its way out" WHAT?!?!?!?!?! could you be any less informed?
now i love nsync, dont get me wrong, but that whole boyband debate was dead 3 1/2 years ago. is that really the newest music these kids have heard? (and dont even get me started on the "rap is over" comment) and it seems like too many kids stay this way all thru college. belmont grads wonder why they cant get industry jobs? maybe b/c you dont really like music!!!! listen to whatever you want, i know i do, but keep up with the times. know who is big now... know who is going to be big... go to shows AND concerts... get out and do something involving music... BUY RECORDS LIKE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS FULL!!! know the classics, the big names, up-and-comers, the top 40.
