I don't know how many times I listened to this album but I can truly admit one thing - I am amazed. Amazed so much that this week I'm going to DG and buying the CD. It is so beautiful I can't even.
To have a comparison I listened to his other album as well. It was Classic Romance but it didn't appeal to me. The music was monothematical and boring (yeah, I am aware that if I went to his concert and listened to some tracks from Classic Romance I would be on cloud nine, but this is the other history xD). A completely different impression goes for Rock Symphonies.
It was the first album of him I've ever listened to entirely, song after song. The more I listened, the more I couldn't believe it is SO beautiful. Now, I'm in love with him completely <3
The big advantage is the fact, I cannot point you the song I didn't like. All of them were wonderful and that was the first time I fell in love with everything in the album.
The ones which I adore most are The 5th, Live And Let Die and Vivaldi Vs. Vertigo. So if I do another fst (and I'll do it for sure xD), two of them will be there ; 3
And Mission Impossible ! I was dead after recognizing this theme!
Why all the songs are so superlative? Violins combined with electric guitar, drums and keyboard are just amazing. Every track has its own spirit, it develops with every passing second, has plenty of unpredictable turns and insets so you are constantly having to do with move and action. What's more, I love instrumental, especially these which make me feel their own story and climate.
They are perfect.
One person has recently told me that I like instrumental songs because they are played by handsome men.
Yes, I like his instrumental songs because he is handsome and he is German to make the fact even more exeptcional. BUT. His music is just phenomenal to me, his playing can easily make me smile and enjoy all the sounds I hear. And that's why it is so beautiful <3
Gosh, handsome man, leave your Germany and come to Poland to give a concert!
Haven't you realized yet that you are desired here?!
Ave Gołąb!
