1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?

- fell in love with Cheticamp

- discovered really good music

- went to Halifax

- went to Stratford

- drove a car

- acted in 2 high school plays (Exposé and Peter Pan)

- other stuff...

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?

I didn't keep mine from last year, and I'm not sure about making more for next year. I probably won't.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes.    R.I.P. Grandpa Sam.

5. What countries [regions] did you visit?
Myrtle Beach, Fredericton, Cape Breton, Cheticamp, Halifax, everywhere from Ottawa to Nova Scotia, Ottawa Valley, Quebec, Stratford

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
More courage to do things I want to do and to tell people what I want to tell them. A bigger sense of who I am.

7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
August 22nd- My 16th birthday

The summer in general. It was amazing.

The various parties... mostly Mikaela's, Shannon’s, and Tim’s.

Stratford- amazing trip

Exposé tour days

Peter Pan performance days- Absolutely amazing experience

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Exposé

Working really hard in math

being on honour roll for the second year on a row

finally getting over him

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being so hung up on him forever

working hard in math, but still not reaching my goal mark

not being more honest with my parents

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A couple colds probably

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I didn’t buy anything good with my money I don't think, or at least nothing big.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My sister for being such a strong person even though she’s been through so much; Mikaela, Marina, and Mackenzie for always being there for me no matter what; My parents for helping me with everything in my life; Drama Prod. people for being the amazing people they all are; and everyone who I know for being themselves and helping to make me the person I am

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My mother, Mikaela's mom ahha, Amy Roesner... probably others

14. Where did most of your money go?
Starbucks, alcohol unfortunately, food probably

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Nothing that I can remember, well little things.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2005?
So many

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?

Happier. This time last year I wasn’t anything.
b) thinner or fatter? Fatter most likely.
c) richer or poorer? Richer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Trying to be happy, instead of just living my boring life. Telling people I love them.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Thinking about things, but never actually doing anything to make it happen.

20. How will you be spending Christmas [and New Year's Eve!]?
I spent Christmas at home with family, and New Year’s Eve will be spent... not quite sure yet.

21. Did you fall in love in 2005?
I did. With Cheticamp.

22. How many one night stands?
No sex, but hook-up type dealies... a lot.

23. What were your favourite TV programs?
The O.C., Degrassi, Oprah

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Dislike. A few.

25. What was the best book you read?
I read a lot of books, they all kind of blur together.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
purevolume.com ahah

27. What did you want and get?
Snow. Myself. Kind of him.

28. What did you want and not get?
The other him at the time, but I’m glad I didn’t get it.

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, Harry Potter maybe? I don't remember movies this year.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 16, Went out for dinner with my family, found out we were moving, did not have a good birthday. Until the night.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If the 2005 that was in grade 10 had been more exciting.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Jeans and a t-shirt. Sweatpants. Blah.

33. What kept you sane?
Friends and music and love of the world.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
none

35. What political issue stirred you the most?

Um. I don't really know. I remember having talks about Communism with my parents a lot though.

36. Who did you miss?
Rose, Grandpa

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Irene, Drama Prod. people

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005?
Always tell people you love them when you get the chance, because you may never have that chance again.
