So wonderful. That was one scary monster! And the dialogue was perfect, and Jack is a master seducer. Mmm.

Thank you! I have to admit I just couldn't resist the idea of Jack and Wilson - so much prettiness! But Wilson didn't have a chance against Jack's mad seduction skillz...

Wow... your first slash, and it was crossover non-H/W slash! Gosh, that is unexpected, it would've been great for the Come As You're Not event. Way to go! :D

Great job keeping everyone IC. I like your Captain Jack - it's so easy to make him into a predatory slut instead of confidently sexual, but you've managed to capture his finer aspects very nicely. Loved his dialogue, especially the joke about the alien. :)

I giggled when I realized that Jack was going to beeline for Wilson, but it made perfect sense, with Wilson standing there all cute and coiffed and caring. I laughed out loud when I thought of just how well Owen and House would get along. It would be so much fun to read about their evening at the strip club, arguing medicine and the merits of thongs in the same breaths.

So, now that you've dipped your toe in, what do you think? Something you'd do again if the right bunny nibbled, or not your thing?

Heh - elynittria joked that attempting slash and a cross-over for the first time simultaneously was sort of like my own double whammy of sexual confusion and an alien encounter. I can entirely relate to Wilson :)

How could Jack resist Wilson? And Wilson would never have a chance against Jack - if Bonnie can maneuver him into bed, Jack wouldn't even have to break a sweat...

I'll continue playing with Torchwood, I think, but I'm not sure about the slash - I love the subtext and the innuendo, but even this was an awful lot of talk and very little action!

Thanks for reading!

Whoa. An NC-17 slash from Mer! Worth the wait, too. Thank you!

Thank you for reading! NC-17 is probably too high a rating (what is a little frottage between friends, after all), but I decided I'd rather under-deliver than offend :)

Jack and Wilson are both very hard characters to balance - it's easy for fandom to see one or two of their traits and take those as all they've got to give - but it's hardly surprising you knew to avoid that pratfall. The intersections and interactions between the two of them and their lives were a lot of fun, particularly Wilson's aborted alien-hunting career, and the contrast of their weird highly personal and very open natures.

Unrelated to the story: someday I want a person to call the bluff on the "it's a long story" or "you can't possibly imagine." I'm sure they've got time.

I think what's interesting about Jack and Wilson is that while they both do have very open personalities, at least on the surface, they're also extremely secretive about their personal life. I can actually imagine either of them calling the bluff on "it's a long story" brush off, though I think they would back off if there was continued resistance. House, perhaps, not so much!

Heh - Wilson isn't much of an alien hunter, but he did his best.

Thanks for reading!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it - it was definitely a departure, though one I enjoyed writing...
