'My Own' on MTV is quite possibly the worst show ever.
With that said, life has been pretty good lately. Classes are... well, classes. I really enjoy American Studies. EDT seems to take for.ev.er this semester. I AM going to kill Robert Chamblin. He and his damn colored chalk and mismatched socks make math a living hell. Art History isn't too bad. I have that class with Hagerty and we laugh at the gangsta paintings. But it's in the middle of the day and I always want to fall asleep. And CSA is easy... and the teacher is a grad student and he's hot. Always a plus. Um... what else? Dan and I are dating. Surprise, surprise. Apparently people thought we were dating anyway since we hung out so much over break? Right, like two times you mean? Haha, whatever. Point of the story, I'm happy.
We had dinner with the corridor tonight. We really got screwed over first semester with Ashley as an RA. She was never around, never organized anything, never held corridor meetings, never introduced us to each other, never talked to us, never saw us. Bad RA to have first semester of your freshman year. So here we are, February, and just now getting to know the rest of our corridor, other than Karman (and Katie). It was fun. Hannah is our new RA and she's trying to organize stuff to do, so that should be fun.
I was looking at stuff online about Luxembourg, and it really sounds like something I'd enjoy. How amazing would it be to spend a semester living with a European family and going to classes at the Luxembourg campus?? The only downside is that as an education major with cohorts and early field blocks and field teaching experience and whatnot, I don't want my schedule to get screwed over somehow. And Jennay had talked about Lux too, so that'd be pretty sweet if that happened too. The whole thing is definitely something to consider. Because even if Lux never happens, there's always student teaching abroad. They have it set up where you can student teach in American military bases (I think?) in Europe. Another possibility if I have the guts. Who knows...
Got some news the other day that was kind of a shocker, but I suppose it could be a good thing? Meh. I'm happy if they're happy. I feel like some of my friends are drifting from me and that makes me really sad. I'm trying my hardest to keep up my end, now you do your part! In other news, MIAMI HOCKEY IS BACK THIS WEEKEND. #1 in the country!! Haha, it's going to be sooo packed tomorrow night, since they are #1 now. Ohhhh wellllll. Hockey is amazing. Needing to do laundry= not amazing.
Aaaand, on a final note, I have to mention how much I love my roommate and how she wakes me up from my slumber in the middle of the night to ask me the most RANDOM questions ever. Jennayyy, remember that time we were the best roommates ever? P.S. our tower is leaning like whoa. :(
