I'm drowning into whiskey..
It's been a while since my last post. Lot has happened. I have spend lots of time with my nephew, I have gotten new friends, I have searched a job.. And if I'm lucky, I'll start working in two weeks. But not in Oulu or in Finland at all.. I'm going to work in Ireland. ^___^
I sent my CV yesterday to Manpower Ireland Ltd and they called me today, saying that I could be one of the new workers for IBM. I was like o___O. Couldn't understand that they contacted me this soon. In Finland it's pretty rare if they contact at all.. But in Ireland everything is bit different. I spoke with the main guy and then he asked me to do technical test that he'd send me via mail. I did it and then he informed that the application has send to IBM and that they'd call me later.
If I get the job, I'd need to move to Ireland within two weeks. That's pretty fine with me, but I don't know how my parents and all the other relatives take it. It might be hard for them, since I was away already 5 years and the contract is for 11 months minimum. But I think that they'll let me do it, since I'm already grown up, not a baby anymore. Only big thing I'm gonna miss in Finland, is my nephew. Not gonna able to see so often. T____T But I'm glad that I have possibility to have photos of him and hear all the new things from my sister or my mother. And thanks to MSN Messenger and webcam, I can see him "live"...
