Tonight's article will be on the short side, because I don't feel like getting too deep right now. The subject is a webcomic of comparatively low profile as far as I can tell. (It's hard to tell with webcomics sometimes.)
It's called
Nice Hair because Nail Gaiman has nice hair. He -or a caricature of him- is the main character of the comic, along with a skinny Tim Burton and a morbidly obese Robert Smith ("Fat Bob"). These three are flatmates for whatever the reason.
Neil communicates with elder gods and
cats like his nose. Tim has an
effeminate monster under his bed. Fat Bob has problems.
The drawing style is in a 0's neo-goth style which would be annoying if it weren't this attractive. It changes over the years, but retains the same spirit and main characteristics.
The entire run is about 85 comic strips, and the comic isn't updating regularly. In the last year it has updated once, but it was a large update, so it's hard to predict.
All in all it's a very charming and funny comic that doesn't usually resort to cheap laughs. Recommended to all fans of Gaiman, Burton, Smith or Jack Sparrow.
And now for something slightly different:
Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space. If you don't like it, you're probably reading the wrong blog.
