BNL/Guster goodness tomorrow night!
phone coversation with hubby -
hubby - so I need to get a babysitter tomorrow night for the meeting at school. me - yup I'll be in Lowell for the concert.
hubby - what concert is that. me - I thought I mentioned the BNL/Guster show in Lowell. hubby - ya mentioned it but never actually said you were going. me - why would I not go, it has been on the calendar since the Boston show? I better stop taking it for granted that hubby always understands what I am saying...he hates when I talk to him like one of the kids but looks like I better start again...sighhhhh.
Had a very interesting weekend. Kayla was in Peter Pan Friday night (5th grade musical). She did a great job as one of the lost children. Saturday we did some shopping on the way down to my sister's. The kids stayed at my sister's house Sat. night while hubby and I went out for a wonderful dinner with friends. Sunday at 9am got a call from my sister saying Madison fell out of bed Sat night and probably broke her collarbone. My sister is a doctor so I knew Madison was in good hands and Madison has broken collarbone twice before. Took Madison to Dr. yesterday and had xray to confirm broken collarbone. Kayla has been home sick with stomach/intestinal nasty bug since Sunday afternoon. I am really looking forward to leaving work early tomorrow to head down to meet up with Tammy for the trip to Lowell...note to self "bring some alcoholic beverages!"
