Wedding planning is ridiculous.
I am not one of "those" girls, and I can't stand the phrase "wedding planning". But I am here I am planning this shindig and I feel like it has already taken over my life. I even have a "wedding folder". Bahaha. There's a boat load of crap to think of that I never imagined, and dear lord weddings are not cheap. Thankfully my dad is helping with the big costs and we're doing things as simply as possible. We're looking at 50 guests so I think that's pretty small as weddings go. I need to do the majority of planning over the summer since in the fall school will be running my life as I attempt to graduate. I guess the suckiest and most stressful part is that we're getting married at home in NB and I'm here in Denton attempting to chose things via websites and reviews.
But all that complaining aside it's very exciting and really kind of fun to do it all. It makes it much more real when you have a date and deposits and color schemes (<-which I don't have yet). Everything I've read so far says to enjoy these moments instead of stressing over and rushing through them. You only get to be engaged once for a little bit, I am going to enjoy it. :)
