This semester is flying by, thank god. Three studios sounded like a great idea, but shits rough. I like it though, pushing me to my limits. Making some art I feel good about. The painting I'm working on now has me all kinds of excited. All I want to do is work on it, see it come together. It's moments like that when I know I'm doing what I'm meant to do, regardless if I'll ever get paid for it. Drawing has panned out better than I thought. I had it in my mind that I was a "painter" and drawing would be like pulling teeth. It's not easy, but it's a challenge and I'm down with that. I need to keep this momentum up, time for me to start entering some contests and juried shows. Get some balls about this damn thing.
Kristy's baby is due in 9 weeks! That's exciting/terrifying, but I think she will be a wonderful momma. Just a year ago we were about to jet-set to New York. How so much changes in a year! I'm excited to see what this next year will bring! Graduation, grad school, moving to a new city, who knows what else! I can't wait for everything to unfold, whatever that may bring.
How odd that I'll be 22 in March. I feel like I'm thirty haha.
