scientific observation!

I love my Physical Anthropology/Human Evolution lecture. LOVE IT. My teacher is so inspiring and I am learning way too much, as nerdy as that is. Today we were talking about all the research and such with gene therapy and DNA etc, and I am just completely amazed at how much as been done and what the possibilities are. It's wild. I feel like I have been so ignorant! They are making such crazy advances with it all and so much of it is going to help so many people.

For a good 5 minutes during class today I was like... holy shit I'm changing my major to biology and I'm going to be a scientist! But then I remembered that simple math eludes me and I'm really not that smart, so I guess I'll just stick with art. But MAN that crap is nuts, I don't really understand how half of it works, but what I do understand is mind bottling. Look into it! DNA is amazing!

On a different subject, the apartment search is continuing. Nothing really beats the first place though. A lot of places are like, yeah we take pets! A golden retriever? Hell no!
And man that dog is going to be EXPENSIVE. I'm afraid I wont be able to afford to buy it much less take care of it. But, we'll see, I reeeeally want one!

Going home this weekend for my Dad's 50TH BIRTHDAY (what an old dude!). I love my family so much, but I really don't like going home. It always ends up that whenever I plan to go home, 8 gazillion things are due for school when I come back. Plus that drive is horrible. My family just needs to come up here! :]
