No, really. What's with all the wind already?!
I watched Adaptation last night and it was pretty bad. The acting was fine, the story was fine, the ending was so bad. It just leaves you hanging. Sure, that's okay sometimes, but I just feel like the ending was important to this story. Oh, well. I guess this is why I'm not a screenwriter (HAHA, if you have seen the movie you will think that is funny).
On Christmas when we were at my grandma's visting my dad said something to my aunt about global warming and she giggled because she is a jesusfreak and does not believe in it. So the next day we are watching the weather and my dad says something about it being 72 on Saturday. I was like, "Oh man! Global warming is freakin nuts," and my dad makes some smart remark and I was like, "What? How can you not believe in it? It's science." He said something about not believing a lot of things just cause they're science. I was apalled. Sure my dad never went to college, but he's freakin' smart. He understands science, too, so I don't get it. Anyway, I got really really upset/angry and my heart rate inscreased and I had to leave the room because of all this. I just don't get it. It's not normal to wear a t-shirt and shorts outside at the end of December.
I am reading On the Road right now and so far it's just okay. It's getting a lot better, though. I feel like it's maybe one of those books that you have to read through a few times to fully understand. However, maybe it's just one of those books that everyone talks up, but it's really shit. Sort of like A Catcher in the Rye.
Oh well.
