in 2013, i got engaged. i turned 24. zach joined the national guard. anna graduated college. i finished my first year and a half of law school. i visited hawaii, new york, california (for a weekend), and colorado (and, of course, the best state in the country - indiana). i stopped drinking coke. i taught a high school class. i truly discovered my love of nail art. and i ended the year in a not-so-funny comedy show with my family and zach where i got my first new year's kiss :)
in 2014, i will finish law school. i will get rue a sister or brother cat. zach will graduate from basic training. i will turn 25. (and emily will turn 30!) i will hopefully visit austin, japan, kenya, and washington d.c.
as for resolutions, i want to let go of some anger. i want to dance more. i want to try harder in school (after all, this is the last year of my life when i will ever get to do that). and i just want to try, overall, to be better - to listen better, to forgive better, to study better, to save better, to live better.
