Cough medicine is almost worse than coughing

I was supposed to go to New York tomorrow, stay over, and then go to a TDS taping on Monday, but I've already cancelled the "tomorrow" part--I am knocked on my ass with a cold.   I feel like shit already and the cough medicine is making me feel like I have morning sickness.  Not that I've ever had it but based on the description, that's what it seems like.  How can the kids these days drink a bottle or more of it to get high?  I'm ready to hurl from taking two capfuls.  And I can still taste it in my mouth even though it's been an hour since I took it.  So gross.

If I feel better on Monday I'll still go but I'm not really looking forward to standing outside for even an hour.  I'll have to see what the weather's going to be like.
