Update: 4/25/10

Brief Summary:This updated, more detailed list simply details how all my pop-culture-y obsessions are connected. I'm crazy for making this list.So it goes.Robbie Coltrane and Johnny Depp connect everything.

Moonlight-->Doctor Who-->Pride and Prejudice-->Pirates

Sophia Myles has the trifecta connection as Beth Turner in Moonlight alongside vampire Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin), Madame de Pompadour in Doctor Who's "The Girl in the Fireplace" and Victoria Abberline in "From Hell" with Johnny Depp.
Depp chatted with the 10th Doctor, David Tennant, in the film “L.A. Without a Map.”
*Keira Knightley was an Elizabeth in both "Pride and Prejudice" (2005) and "Pirates".
Both of her Elizabeths encountered Tom Hollander. He was Mr. Collins and Lord Cutler Beckett.
*Talulah Riley was Mary Bennet alongside Knightley and the unfortunate Miss Evangelista in the Doctor Who two-parter "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead".
*Carey Mulligan was young, silly, Kitty Bennet and inquiring Sally Sparrow for the Doctor-lite "Blink."
Steven Moffat helped write the “Doctor Who and The Curse of the Fatal Death” starring Governor Swann/Master (Jonathan Price) and the TV series “Coupling” starring Jack Davenport as ranting Steve.
"The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant" sees a Will (Alex O'Loughlin ) recieving the affections of a pretty tough chick  instead of a British naval officer (Davenport).Does this remind anyone of Davenport’s turn as Norrington in Pirates? Of course it does.

Lord of the Rings-->Pirates
Merry (Dominic Monaghan)and Norrington(Davenport)are chilling together in CBS' "FlashForward".
*Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) advised Queen Elizabeth(Cate Blanchett) in "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth : The Golden Age. "

Moonlight--> Pirates-->Star Trek-->Scrubs

Alex O'Loughlin was Mick St. John, a vampire and Star Trek fan! I found this video of a rough cut of the CBS Moonlight promos where Mick is being interviewed and one of the questions was:
What makes life worth living?At 1:05 Mick lists Star Trek’s The Trouble with Tribbles."
Martin Klebba was Marty in Pirates and Scrubs' Randall Winston, a custodial friend of The Janitor.
Lee Arenberg is Pintel in Pirates and Dr.Moyer in Scrubs'3rd Season opener "My Own American Girl."
