(no subject)
Wow, I never update this anymore. Never have time, I guess.
I've been working both jobs still, about 35 hours a week so that's been sucking. I'm quitting the cafe after this quarter though (woot) and just staying at FV since it's right near my house and I like it better anyways.So right now, I'm working 35 hour weeks, and school 20 hours a week. It's been pretty busy. Luckily I've only got a month to go and this quarter is over, and after that I won't have to work as much.
I think I've had more fun this week than my entire college career, haha. We don't get to go out a lot, and we don't know a lot of people here so we really never have anywhere to go. One of my things the last few months has just been to try and meet some new people and get together more with the friends I already have, but it's hard when I'm so busy. Anna, one of Chris' friends from work, bartends at this place called Bernie's and has been wanting us to go forever. We never really make time to go out, which sucks.
A couple weeks ago, Chris' friend Lou from school invited us to the Gogol Bordello concert at Newport. So we went to that Tuesday (and it was AMAZING), and neither of us had to work Wednesday, so Anna asked if we'd go to Bernie's with her and get a drink. Holy crap, so much fun. Jeff B went over with us, and we all just hung out for a few hours, then Chris, Jeff and I went to Buckeye Donuts at like three in the morning and then went home. Our friend Steve wanted to get drinks Friday night, so we went back over there. That was also a lot of fun, but not so great later cause we had to crash at Jeff's cause Chris drank a wee bit too much whiskey, haha. And I only got about three hours of sleep and had to work at 11 yesterday. Oh well.
It's so nice just to go out and relax and be social. I forgot how much fun it is, haha! We decided we're just going to try and make more time to go out and have fun, and not just stay at home because we're both so busy. I think we need it more now that we are so busy, actually.
School isn't bad, I like most of my classes. It's flying though, I graudate in June and I thought it was going to drag but it isn't at all. It's creeping up on me. And the wedding is only ten months away (!) and I feel like I have nothing done!! Hopefully I can get the majority of my wedding stuff done over winter break, and then push thorough the last six months of school and be done. Finally.
I thought I was so ready to be done with school, but now I'm freaking out a little, haha. I have no idea what I'm going to do when I get done. I've just been kind of coasting along for three and a half years, and now it's hit me all at once. Oh well, I'll figure it out XD
Chris is still loving school, and I can't believe he's already close to five months in. Time flies.
