Horses horses horses.
So I'm in heaven.
I met with a woman this morning who owns a barn about a half hour from here. She was looking for people to come help and do chores and things, because she has about fifteen horses. Basically, I go one or two days a week to help her in the mornings -- feeding, watering, bring the horses in from pasture, cleaning stalls, etc. Then we have a lesson in groundwork/lunging, because I've never done much with it before, and then we ride. Next Tuesday she's going to pair me up with a horse, and I get to pretty much do anything I want, it's basically a free lease. I can ride whenever I want, get free lessons, and show with them in the spring.
I'm sososososo freaking excited!
