(no subject)
Woot, wedding planning!
So we're basically 99% positive on a date. September 18th, 2010. I've been doing tons of random planning this week. We're also talking about not having a renaissance theme, and doing a more traditional wedding with a Victorian influence. Chris wants to wear a Victorian-style tux, and I found a gorgeous dress that I love. I'm still deciding on colors, but I'm kind of going with burnt orange, red, and chocolate brown for now. Fall colors, thought it'd be pretty. I saw a picture of a table in those colors that totally made up my mind, haha. We're planning on having it at Ravenwood still, and not sure about the reception. My parents decided they are paying for the reception, so I think my mom and I are going to look at venues over Christmas. I'm leaning towards Avion on the Water right now, but I haven't seen it in person yet so we'll see. It's gorgeous though.
In other news, Jeff and Ashley are staying here permanently. I'm really happy about that. I love having them here, and financially, it makes a lot more sense. We have tons of room, plus we're trying to save up about $12,000 for our wedding in less than two years. Not going to happen if we live here by ourselves, haha. Everything else has been good.
School has been pretty good this quarter, I feel like I'm doing ok. Next quarter should be even better, cause I'm taking all of my classes but one online. I feel like I do a lot better with online classes, because I like being able to work at my own pace. I don't even go to lecture half the time, I just do notes on my own because my teachers are straight out of the book. It's a lot easier for me that way and I feel like I actually learn everything better on my own.
