Things have been going decently lately. Unfortunately I haven't seen many of my good friends from school, but maybe that will change. I miss you guys! Let's do something soon, please.
So I figure that honesty is the best thing in circumstances, right? So I've been doing that, contrary to what some people might believe. Joe and I have had long conversations the past two days, and it's helped a lot. We've both been honest with each other about everything, and it's made the air easier to breathe. I spoke to my mom too, and she understands. Of course, she was mad about it when I told her - upset and a little disappointed, gave me a stricter curfew, have to call in and check in with her more, etc etc - but hey, everything's out in the open and it's better that way. In the end, she calmed down and realised that I didn't do anything wrong, which I agree with. I just need to not do stupid things and then there will be nothing that needs to be told later. So now that my head is on straight, maybe life will be smoother? I hope so.
Aside from all that, my photography colour course at ICP is coming along nicely even though I've only had my first week of classes this week. I've kind of figured out how I'm going to do my project. The topics are past, present, and future. Past is to re-create a memory, present is to describe what makes up who you are, and future is where you want to be. I have a good idea but I'm afraid it's going to be too graphic/personal for class. I'm going to do it anyway, but I need to plan it out a lot more before I do it. I want to have a few ideas for this roll of film so I can just breeze through it. I'm kind of excited about it and I'm glad I spoke to my teacher about it. She's really wonderful.
Work cut my hours so now I can't save up for that flash or lightmeter and it has to come out of other savings money. But at least I'll have some spending money so I don't have to always take my mom's. And this means more time to hang out! So let's hang out! Come on peoples!
