Hmm... i cut the front of my ankle rather badly shaving this morning, and it still hurts. I hope it doesn't get infected. I fear infection. I also sliced my finger on the desk thing at work, rather like a papercut. I hope everything stays fine with those... i will watch them. I get so nervous.
I'm looking at the pictures we took in the park today, and my lips are all blue in them because of the lollipop i'd just eaten. They match my eyes.

Anyway, we had a long day! When i first got out of the car in town, my skirt kept blowing up. And Bri said my outfit looked like a pilgrim's, so they started calling me Marilyn Pilgrim. We went to go get tea, but alas! the tea shop was closed. Stupid winter hours. It's spring now!! Brianna got theological about it which was cute. So we walked around downtown for a while and eventually decided to get bagels. That was yum! That makes me hungry now, in fact. Brianna read Hannah's stories of our adventures aloud and we took a few videos, talked about youth group, talked about a guy wearing a shirt that said "i ♥ boobs," and then went to Bella Mia and looked around. That's where i got my lottery dress and my red sundress. Oh and my plaid skirt (the
"pumpkin of my dreams" skirt, as Hannah may know it). I'm looking for a spring coat, and there was a cute pink peacoat there by Tulle (same as the skirt), but a bit pricey and maybe too bright/dark pink.
From there we umm i guess we took Brianna home for her piano lesson, then Hannah and i decided to go to the park since Lanka could not receive visitors at that time. There was a cute alaska dog up on the hill and it was fun to drive through the foresty trees. After a stormy, gray morning, it turned into a very bright and sunny afternoon.
So we climbed up to the hill and sat down for a while and we also enjoyed a picnic table. Then we decided to go to Meijers in search of an umbrella/parasol the same as my purple one. That is where i got it, but that was some months ago and they only had character ones now. Same at Target.
But, at Target, as we were looking at notebooks, a young girl started talking to us (about notebooks). Her mom was there too and we were talking about this and that and Hannah said "i've always wanted to ask someone i don't know -- how old does she look?" The young girl looked at me and said "sixteen," but the mom said "no, older... early twenties." Hannah told them my real age and then i asked how old Hannah looked. "Younger. Seventeen," they agreed. We told them her true age (14) and then the mom asked if we were
mother and daughter. That's a new one!!! I know it probably seems a bit strange for us to be hanging out together, but i do not look like anyone's mother!
Anyway the young girl said that was impossible (i would have been 12, but it would be possible) and the mom said "what do i do all day?"
The daughter said "deliver babies.... from OLDER people!!"
And the mom said that there were more twelve year olds having babies than you'd think and i acknowledged that but said i was not one of them...
So we bought our notebooks (and i bought sheep ears too!!! yes!!!!! i love them!
) and i took her home, and she let me borrow a bunch of Nancy Drew books. Now i'm supposed to write a story but what was it going to be about? Crime sprees? Well, good night.
