concert story time
saturday.....nothing to do for those too lazy and/or poor for the HFStival or the chili cookoff. i find out about this show at recher for $12 and try to get mamu and crispin to go. so we all set out on a journey to the recher theater. first, cult of luna played, they're some swedish band. the music is quite progressive, it was hypnotizing with the lights and everything. good band. moving on......death by stereo was also nice, like a mix of hardcore, punk, metal and all that good stuff. then finally mastodon came on, needless to say we left very happy and without our voices of hearing. they are so awesome, the lead singer plays a 5 string bass without a pick, and hes so fast. he also pick people out of the crowd and stares them right in the eye with his crazy stare, as hes singing. definitely gonna do more of that from now on.
