http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/04/07/tv.cookie.lessmonster.ap/index.html Since PBS is the Public broadcasting station, I can see how they would be the first to adopt this sort of thing, but I wonder, if mortality rates increase due to complications from childhood obesity, will the same line be drawn with advertising as is in regards to tobacco? Tobacco is addictive, causes serious illnesses and death later in life, and now it is illegal to market tobacco toward minors. Will the same argument eventually be applied to junk food?
