The wrong trousers
Evidence of a day's childcare in the stains on my new trousers: (in chronological order) general scuzz from village hall floor; felt-tip pen; pritt stick; chocolate biscuit (not even mine); baby vomit (mine, well, my baby); grass stains, mud, strawberry juice and raspberry juice; cake mix; olive oil. What on earth possessed me to buy a pair of pale duck-egg blue trousers?
