Today I am looking for a reference to support my claim that how old adults look affects the way they are treated in health and social care settings. That could be people at the older end of the age spectrum or it could be younger. I've already got references for the significance of hair colour and style and clothes in later life. What I want is something more general about looking or not-looking your age. I don't mind whether the effects of how old you look are positive or negative, I just want to be able to show that there are consequences to how old you look.
