"I'm a vessel of shimmy."
I had an absolutely awesome time last night. For many reasons. First and foremost, the festivities at Club Triangle were a nice respite from all of the stressful work I've been doing lately. And, two, said festivities also proved to be an opportunity to really reconnect with my partner.
Okay. So, we're a pretty connected pair. We hold hands when we sleep, and have remained completely involved with each other over the last three years. However, because we are so often inundated with our daily routines and projects, it's sometimes difficult to simply let our negative stimuli go and just spend quality time together. And, while we do have a date night at least once a month, we rarely ever go to a bar where pool tables and dance floors exist. After last night, we might have to make that happen more often.
Time to tie loose ends and prepare for our trip to Chicago!
