And it just keeps hitting you even when you are down....
You know how last week I ranted on about how I was informed about my lack of job.... well it just got compounded... Apparently what they failed to tell me was that when they demanded I responded in writing rapidly... I was starting my notice period!!!!! In fact nobody has bothered to contact me and inform me now and if it hadn't been for me "throwing my toys out the pram" at lunch time still nobody would have told me that by the 16th December I needn't show up in the office
And there I was thinking I would manage to hold on to my job until at least the week after Christmas.
My first thought as the news, punched into me, was "God I'm going to have to work loads of extra hours to get everything done in time" !?!?!?!?!?
Then I lost my temper, burst into tears and came home. I will get all the work done, not because I owe the company anything but because the decision makers will never suffer the consequences of their actions but my colleagues will!
