I want to find more interests in life too. I know a love of drawing and writing can't really get you that far unless you have a mixture of particular talent, perseverance, and maybe most importantly, luck (in the case of comic artists, anyway.. and there is probably luck involved in being a successful novelist as well). I was thinking about similar subjects today in anthropology. Wondering who decides to be a doctor, or a lawyer, or an archaelogist, or some obscure but high-skill profession, and thinking "drawing comics? is that really all I ever want to do? and just where is that supposed to get me?" haha. I think you have a lot of mechanical and logic skills but I don't know if you'd be interested in anything in that line of professions. (when I say that, I don't just mean you're good with your hands and with computers, I mean you're good at thinking, and understanding, and figuring things out... maybe you could be a CSI? hehe) it's important of course for it to be something you enjoy doing. but I think you also have a lot of other untapped skills and potentials that you might not realize until something comes up, that certain class that turns on a light in your head or a sudden task that presents itself in your life... I dunno if that makes any sense. I think you would be an awesome film director or screenplay writer. I think you would make an awesome writer, period, but like I said before, it's not very easy to make a successful living as a writer, heh. although I think it might be easier for scriptwriters (scriptwrights? I dunno) than for novelists. I think the movie world could really use someone like you, and I hope someone like Ali never makes it.. although to be sure Ali's ideas are still a little better than some of the movies that get made, hehehe. but you would blow them out of the water. you should take some film classes, see how you like them. unless you're totally not interested I guess. and I agree that chairs are super uncomfortable, lol.
