So my mom's been going along with chemotherapy. She's missed a week and may miss another because of low white blood cell counts. The doctors did a contrast MRI on Monday to try and ascertain the size/extent of the cancer, but the results were inconclusive because my mom doesn't have enough body fat to get a good contrast going. So, related to that, they don't want to think about doing surgery until June, because a) not knowing the scope of things and b) they think my mom is too thin, and wouldn't tolerate the surgery - that is, that she'd die on the operating table.
And that's how things are going with her right now.
