we all know how the pledge goes:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all."

but has anyone ever taken the time to realize that its all lies?

"one Nation under God," what happened to the fight for separation of church and state?

"indivisible" what about the civil war? thats about as divided as anyone/thing can get.

"With Liberty and Justice for all" there is liberty and there is justice but not for all. if there was liberty and justice for all then: why are black people often still stereotyped? why is our freedom of speech being limited more and more every day? and why cant gays be married? that one bothers me the most. people say that "the bible states that no man should lie next to another man as he would a woman" well here goes the issue again of separation of church and state.

if you really want me to stand for the pledge than change it.
here's my idea:

i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america
and to the republic with which it falls
one nation under a godless sky
divided by hate
with liberty, justice, hatred and lies for all

under a godless sky because we care about sins such as being gay but why don't we care about the sins like mass homicide war hatred greed and envy. there is truly something wrong with this country when you give a man a gun and tell him to kill everyone that he can but will not allow two women to get married.

what about the declaration of independence? :

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

ALL men are created equal.

the pursuit of happiness, what if you're gay and you want to be married. all you want is to be able to introduce you and your significant to someone and say "hello im daniel and this is my husband jonathon" equal rights are not special rights.

the government is denying basic human rights. yet every morning the children recite lies:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all."
