highlights from last night at the parkside:
+ we attempted an encore with our new cover of a Human Expression song after the "Meet my Lil' Sweetie" tease--and ate shit
+ free drink tickets = free margaritas
+ smoking a J with Tina Boom Boom as well as the fabulous LaTeen-Os
+ making out with ex-crush
+ beating the pants (and head) off this little dude during the LaTeen-Os set
it was stuffed with all sorts of chili sugar, chicharrones, and other mexican candys. i ate most of it despite my lead-free diet.
+ my friend Mike Del Lame gave me a magnet and patch of his old band, the Red Barons. carlos told me about them when i was still in high school and i was blooown away in love, so they became like one of my first east bay garage band crushes. anyway, the patch pretty much looks EXACTLY like this except they drew an "s" in.
i'm totally sewing it on my jean vest.
