If you don't need the stem to remove your Lunette, try flipping it inside out to see if being stemless would improve its comfort. Then you can decide whether or not to keep the stem and/or keep the cup.
A softer blunt based cup might be more comfortable, even if it has similar dimensions to your Lunette. For example, something like the Lena. Stick with the larger sizes only because they'll provide the capacity that you hint at needing.
Thanks, I tried to use it flipped inside and the chafing was gone but I still felt the pressure inside and it was really difficult to remove it so I guess I still have to get a new one. I wish more cups came with a ring stem that one was really nice. I only have heavy bleeding for one day so I don't know if a bigger one is worth it :( I'm still concerned that if the cup I get is too soft I won't be able to have it open inside no matter what I do. Thank you for writing helpful advice there too ^^
If you want a non tpe cup similar to the meluna theres also the Selenacup which is made from silicone and they have an "aktiv" version which i assume is a firmer option for those with stronger pelvic muscles. They both have a ring stem and come in S M or L :)
