Just bought my first cup and decided to do a bit of internal rooting around to get an idea of where my cervix is. The last time I done this (a good while) ago, my cervix was smooth and I could feel the opening in it. Now there is a small lump, like a spot, beside the opening. Any ideas?

the way your cervix feels depends on the time of your cycle. if it starts to bother you and/or stays like that for too long, see a doctor.

It's probably a nabothian cyst and should go away on its own. Ask your OB/GYN if you're concerned/it doesn't resolve on its own!

I second this, I had one myself which went away within a week.
