Just got my first cup! :)
Hello all!
I JUST opened my small LilacCup 10 minutes ago, and I'm already in love! I've been lurking this community for a few months now, and it definitely helped me make the decision to get a menstrual cup/which cup to get. Now I just have a couple questions:
1. Cleaning my cup is a bit of an issue. I'll be leaving for my first year of college in two weeks, so boiling it won't be an option in a dorm room. I want to be able to clean it discreetly, as I'm sharing a bathroom with three other girls.
2. How far in is the cup actually supposed to go? I bought some Insteads before actually buying a cup, and I found that it was difficult getting them in and staying in. I think it was because I wasn't getting it close enough to my cervix (maybe because I'm a virgin?). Does the cup have to be close to the cervix like the Instead or can it be further away?
I know I'm a little long-winded but any help is appreciated! I'm looking forward to using my pretty purple cup! :D
