is it weird that i want to move to detroit just to listen to techno there?
i think that seeing kevin saunderson, being in the same room with him, dancing 5 feet away from a man who has in my opinion accomplished things of equal greatness to any living human being, playing the music that he has invented- oh, man, it mighthave been one of the happiest nights of my life. i was literally on the floor for his entire 4 hour set, i didnt stop dancing to get a drink of water or anything, for 4 hours. the concept isnt even new or original to me anymore, its just so cool that i love it anyway. dude they all live there, carl craig, derrick may, kevin saunderson, juan atkins, they have a museum about techno in detroit, they have a festival for it. oh man oh man. i should do that after college and france and everything.
