I just love the (il)logic of: "Copy this, email it to all your friends, have them email it to their friends, etc. Then in a couple of weeks gas prices should go down."

Really. How is that again?

That's what I thought.

Some people need to take off their tin foil hats and stop with this "Cheney involved with Haliburton" conspiracy theory.

It's an important problem.
We do not need to use oil.
They are just trying to wring the last dollar out of it before they convert to fuel cells.

No-one's disputing the problem. Just your spammy, non-helpful 'solution'. If you'd brought up a plan to help this that might have a chance of working, your post comments might read differently.

It's a case of "Do *Something*, even if it's wrong!"

Or we could do it the Zen way, "Don't just do something, sit there!"

Raise Cain. Tear up Jack and pull Jenny's tail. Do not go gently into that good night.
Yell. Scream, "We're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore!"

But to sit idly by waiting for someone else to do something does not appear productive.

Who says we're not doing something? Lovely set of assumptions you've got there.

"Do something, even if its wrong" takes the folks who have the impetus to do something, and gives them the satisfaction of having done something, when they've done something completely useless. Try floating a real plan, and maybe you'll get a decent response. But with this, you've wasted people's time, including yours. It's not even decent conciousness-raising, as you promise in your spam that if they spread the word about the problem, it'll solve the problem.

Why don't you go and find a real, workable solution, if this is something you care about? Then float that, in a non-spammy kind of way, and maybe people will take you seriously and work with you on the plan.

This is my last comment to you, as you've really wasted enough of my time. Respond if you like, but you'll get no further response from me.
