Hee, that's very nice! I like how Rod feels like he's missing out, but he's still so wrapped up in being, well, himself that it takes him a while to figure out what's going on.

Oh, yes. I like this Rod, who is so superficial as to be a jackass, so wrong inside his own skin -- something Rodney has never, ever been -- that it takes seeing what he should be to understand what he has. Lovely :)

I like this, with Rod not really understanding that when you put on a mask, no one sees your face, and figuring it out, giving himself permission to let go of the mask -- and finding that other people give that back in return. And poor Sheppard, who *still* hasn't found something to flap McKay *g*. I'm sure he'll think of something though ;-)
