*sniff* moving and bittersweet. I loved the way you described the team and their connection to each other. And of course Rod isn't as selfconfident as he'd like people to think, he's just good at hiding it. A nice variation on 'Epiphany.'

I was afraid for a moment there, that John would chose to stay with the brothers. Glad he decided to go home with Rod. Very nicely done.

Thanks! It was fun to take a look at the episode from a different angle, and see what I could do with it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

*glee* I have no idea who you are, because my problem solving skills suck, but thank you so much for this. It's short enough to keep a lot open to possibility but it contains enough detail to keep it interesting. Rod was wonderful, Ronon the ever-protective one, and I find the image of Teyla with small braids incredibly attractive. It would help to give her that more distant air that she's implied to have in this 'verse.

And thank goodness "Elan" went back with them; you nearly had me worried there. I was already plotting kidnapping/rescue missions in my head that involved Ronon, twenty Marines, and a potato sack.

Again, thank you! I love your images of them. This John fascinates me.

It was really fun to step in and see your prompts; there was just something about the ep follow-on that spoke to me, and I had to run with it. I am so glad you like it. Feel free to follow on with this John if you want; the story's yours. *g* Thanks!

Oh, wow. I felt like Fred Savage in The Princess Bride the further along I read.

Gorgeous prose here.

Thanks! The prompt I got was great. It was a lot of fun to write John the descended in this.

Ooof. It was worrying that "Elan" kept reading unhappy body language in the photos. Thank goodness Rod finally pointed out the one where they were both happy.

The unhappy ones are the 'joke' ones, and for Rod, it's a lot easier to carry a walletful of joke photos than it is the ones he really cares about. He does care about his sister and her kids, but that's sort of to be expected. The one he does carry is more revealing than he's comfortable with, but he's not going to let it go.

Thanks!

Eeek! I will have to fix that when I repost it in my LJ. I have no ability to change anything here. I'm glad you liked it, even though it was a little painful. Thanks!
