Holiday cheer filled my brain as I ran from Target’s gorgeous store front to retrieve those very precious carts. I regret to say I am a very clumsy fool who has the audacity to run while people are sitting warm in their cars talking on their Cell-Phones (Selfish-Prone I call them). You think that after watching the news and seeing the signs, America would set the phone down before turning over the engine. But what do I know and why should I care, right? I’m just a meager Cart Boy who works all day among 30+ moving vehicles.
Something I’ve learned well during my employment is that a SUV doesn’t care if you make a squishing sound when flattened. The best just enjoy the mess you make on the pavement. And what is the deal with these huge cars anyway? As America gets fatter, the cars get fatter too? What is the deal these people? And why am I the only one who cares?
Am I truly alone I this ranting? Something needs to give or we will all die from heart-attacks, cancer, or being smushed by a SUV.
Really we are sad. We run around invoking God to fix our problems, declares his nonexistence. Tear down the words “thou shall not murder” from our court rooms, then make a CBS special to make everyone feel better.
As a nation we arc hosing to do away with any sense of God to comfort a small minority of a minority who wish solely to complain and it makes me sick. Notice how the absence of God makes everything less meaningful. Without a God why should I care if some guy kills twelve prostitutes? Really, they only serve to be used? What is wrong with killing the animals? After all that is all we are, just animals acting on our animal instincts.
Our rights are given by God, but he doesn’t exist? God is not Politically Correct and never should be for then he would be nothing more then an idea or tool to be used as the user sees fit; Such as the recent attack on Wal-Mart, the Nations biggest employer and seller of low cost goods for the low mid and lower class. Without Wal-Mart there very well might be no middle class, the pivot pin for any republic to even exist.
But no we are too tired at the end of the day to care about whether God exists, and in the end he only causes more trouble then he is worth. God has a nasty habit of being perfect, thus making ourselves imperfect. We may soon be nation that invokes a God we don’t believe is there. And that is scarier the the Cell-Phone-a-Holics in SUVs buying Mc. Donald’s while speeding to their more-important-then-you meeting over the carpet color for a building across the ocean that is only being built to exploit a loop-hole in our federal tax system.
We are insane truly.
