I am a voice yet waiting to be heard
The robins have come back. Just a moment ago there were about twenty of them in the tree outside my window. It is the middle of February but the spring birds are starting to return. I'm really happy to know that spring is finally coming back.
Even though it's still February, I know that there is an end in sight. I know that the snow will melt and the grass will grow again. Soon the green in my world will be more than the the plants on my window sill, a row of green leaves broken by a vibrant stalk of orchid blooms. There are robins outside, picking berries out of the snow and off the branches of the little tree they were still clinging to. Spring will be here soon.
