Madeleine L'Engle

I woke up this morning to check my email, and found a message from Facebook. I got to the home page of the website and saw that one of my friends had updated her status to say that Madeleine L'Engle had died. Needless to say, I was surprised. I read her books when I was little. She was probably one of the earliest science fiction writers I ever read, and I greatly respected her writing. So, sorrow for her death, but joy for all the great writing she did. She was a wonderful writer and the world was blessed to have her.
