Yay, projects!!!

First: Going to yarn store to buy cotton for

this

for my mom... because it looks fun and St. Patrick's Day is coming up... and she's out of town until tomorrow so I can get it done without any "what are you making" questions.

And, starting a cabled throw in

this yarn (in pewter)

Or, possibly that yarn alternating with another color. We'll see when we get to the store... because I don't have enough.

Also, depending on the price, planning on picking up some extra cotton... 'cause knitting washcloths/dishcloths is a really good way to experiment with stitches and end up with something useful at the same time.

Need to make a shopping list (thank God for gift card Christmas presents)... Okay, maybe thank Mom and Dad is more appropriate. Just have to wait on my sister to get home. Hehe, "Sure, I'll babysit!... If you take me to the yarn store afterword."
